WHERE CHRISTOPHER IS FROM

Chris Lambton is a longtime resident of Dennis, Massachusetts on Cape Cod who is now running for State Representative for the First Barnstable District. He has deep roots in the community, having lived and worked there — operating his family’s landscaping business and oyster farm and serving locally as Chair of the Dennis Selectboard. He is intimately familiar with the needs and concerns of these coastal towns, bringing the perspective of an engaged local business owner and public-servant.

A THRIVING CAREER

Before entering public service, Chris Lambton built a career rooted in hard work, creativity, and community. Chris started off as a New York City public high school teacher and coach before moving back to the Cape. He then followed in his family’s footsteps by running their local landscaping business with his dad and brother, E. Lambton Landscaping and started an oyster farm business, SlackTide Oyster Farm. Through this work, he developed a deep appreciation for Cape Cod’s natural beauty and the importance of preserving it for future generations.

Chris is also well known for his national television work with HGTV, where he and his wife, Peyton, hosted home and landscaping shows that inspired viewers to create meaningful outdoor spaces. Despite his television success, Chris has always remained grounded in his Cape Cod roots — employing local workers, supporting small businesses, and staying involved in community projects that make Dennis a better place to live and raise a family.
